Photo on the left is a photo of the Dong Ha Bridge which I worked on after being completed by NMCB-62 in 1969. Above the photo is a copy of the book "The Bridge at Dong Ha" which tells the story of it's destruction by Marine Captain John Ripley in 1972. Col. Ripley wrote almost 2 pages of tribute to Seabees. Next, to the right is a map of my AO-Quang Tri to Dong Ha to Qua Viet (with my Dog Tags and P-38). Next are 4 photos of the bridge over the Thach Han River at Quang Tri City-the French Bridge in 1968, the new bridge built by NMCB-10 in 1970, both bridges destroyed in 1972, and the present day bridge.
