  • This and the next 10 photos are of what I believe are the old Camp Adenir "A" Company shops.  I located these buildings using some Google satellite images and advice from a couple of Seabee websites.  The buildings are now owned by a cement company and used for storage.  They are in the exact location that Adenir would have been but are now ringed by other structures amd evem am orange roofed apartment/resort building.

  • I spoke with a man who worked for the cement company (and was 53 years old) and would have been 13 when I was at Adenir.  He has lived in the area his whole life and confirmed the buildings were part of a U S base (or camp) during the American war.  He did not know the original name of the camp, however.
